Refund Policy
Effective date: April 20, 2026
We want you to be confident when you pay for Appilio. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are granted and how to request one. All payments are processed by Paddle.com as our Merchant of Record.
Prepaid Credits
Unused prepaid credit balance is refundable on request. To comply with EU gift card rules and California Civil Code § 1749.5, credits:
- Never expire as long as your account is active
- Can be refunded to the original payment method at any time
- Cannot be transferred between accounts, but unused balance can be refunded so you may top up a different account
Used credits (i.e., credits consumed by visitors to your published apps) are not refundable, as they represent services already delivered.
Subscriptions (Pro, Scale)
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. If you are unsatisfied within 14 days of your first Pro or Scale charge, request a full refund at support@appilio.ai and we'll refund it — no questions asked.
After the first 14 days, subscription fees are non-refundable for months already started. You can cancel at any time and your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
AI Generation and Builds
AI generation charges ($0.15 / $0.49) and mobile wrapper builds ($9.99) are non-refundable once the service has been delivered. We will refund these charges if a technical failure on our side prevents delivery (e.g., AI call timed out, build artifact not produced).
How to Request a Refund
- Email support@appilio.ai from the email associated with your Appilio account
- Include your Paddle transaction ID (found in the receipt email) and reason
- We respond within 3 business days
- Approved refunds are processed by Paddle within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method
Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits statutory consumer rights you may have under EU, UK, or other applicable law, including the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Where such rights apply, they take precedence.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before filing a chargeback — we almost always resolve issues directly. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension.
